Welcome to Shadow Mountain Golf!
A unique golfing experience, Shadow Mountain introduces 19 of the most breathtaking holes imaginable. The golfer begins their journey playing the opening par five through local pines, traversing across rolling mountainous terrain and finishing with arguably the four most visually stunning holes in Canada. Standing 125 feet above the fairway two of the four finishing holes leaves you breathless and exhilarated all at the same time. With ample acreage to work with the design team of Cooke/Carleton made sure each hole was unique in creativity, unsurpassed in playability with bent grass tees, fairways and greens in addition to strategically positioning each hole with views of the beautiful mountain peaks such as Fisher Peak, the Steeples and the Purcell mountain range.
Shadow Mountain has not only been very well received by the locals and tourists but has earned extremely high accolades nationally being recognized as the “2010 Runner-Up Best New Course in Canada” – ScoreGolf.
In December of 2013, Shadow Mountain Golf Course was purchased by the very successful Auburn Group based in Edmonton, Alberta. Their vision as in their business practice is quite simply to produce a superior product and to exceed all expectations. In following that motto, the Clubhouse at Shadow Mountain underwent significant changes to increase and improve the seating capacity in the Bear’s Den Lounge, expand the pro shop to its current 1,200 square foot floor space and enhance the views from our outside patio all in the efforts to heighten the overall experience for the members and guests of Shadow Mountain.
The spacious parking lot, expansive restaurant, outdoor patio and pro shop, world class practice facility and equally stunning 19 hole golf course with GPS power carts are all reasons why your next golfing and dining experience has to be at Shadow Mountain Golf Course. We look forward to treating you to a truly memorable “Experience in Nature”.
